Buyer Demographics
Buyers attending the New England Gift Show (NEGS), come mainly from the coastal areas of four states, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts. Retail buyers attending the show come from Plymouth, Boston, Marblehead and all areas north of Cape Cod to Long Island and The Hamptons on the south. These areas include some of the most popular coastal vacation destinations in the country and the highest concentration of tourist oriented retail shops.
The NEGS Gift Show is the primary Trade Show and source of Coastal and Resort Merchandise for these shops in the Northeast, New England and the Coastal Islands. The NEGS Show is a “ Free Admission”, wholesale Gift Buyers Show, open to all retail store owners and buyers.
The central coastal location of Providence, Rhode Island (The Ocean State), makes it an ideal location, situated within 100 miles of a population base of over 10.3 million people, less than 45 miles from Boston and 183 miles from New York. Buyers from the Boston area also attend the NEGS show because of it’s focus on Coastal and Resort Merchandise.
Our buyer base includes over 11,000 shops included in the list below and also over 7,000 shops who have already attended our Cape Cod Gift Show in March and will undoubtedly be attending the Fall NEGS Show in November in Providence.
